We got LUCY from Carol, her foster mom a little over two weeks ago. Thank you, Carol for being a great foster mom! Lucy is a perfect fit and we enjoy her daily. She loves to go for her walks and barks at the deer. (cat, dogs, squirrels, birds, ETC-ETC!) Loves to ride in the car and is adapting quite well. wav

We adopted Percy in May 2005. He was the most affectionate and loving dog. He became my husband's BEST buddy. Percy had cataracts in both eyes when we got him. He had cataract surgery and his sight returned 100%. From that point on the world was beautful and exciting to Percy. Percy went to the Rainbow Bridge today after a good fight against Addisons Disease. Our four years with Percy went too fast. We were blessed to have Percy as part of our family. Thank you SBPR!

Hi friends-
We wanted to add our supportive comments to the web site.
We've adopted 2 wonderful schnauzers through you folks and have been very happy.
We just lost our boy, Max, to cancer last week after having 4 wonderful years with him. He went through 6 months of chemo therapy at VMS; during the whole experience he was the clown of the office and loved going.
We are looking for another mini schnauzer and trust you to again help us find the right one.

I adopted a Boston Terrier from you about a year and a half ago. Gus (formerly known as Norman) is such a sweetheart. He gets along great with my cat and loves meeting people soooo much. Thanks to all the foster homes that give temporary love and shelter to the dogs. I'm so blessed to have Gus as a member of my family.biggrin

We adopted our beloved Daisy dog from your organization two years ago. Unfortunately she passed away last week. I wanted to thank you for rescuing her and allowing us to have a brief but wonderful 2 years with her.

Princess (Shih-Tzu/Maltese mix) is doing GREAT! She was shy initially, but after about two weeks she started ruling the roost, and wanting ALL of the attention! She likes playing with her toys - especially balls, and she and Jake (Akita mix adopted from SBPR almost 5 years ago)are practically inseparable. She is theee sweetest little girl, very affectionate, and I couldn't love her more! I was VERY lucky to be chosen to adopt her! Thank you SBPR!love1

We adopted our Boxer (Lia) back in August 2000. Lia was the best dog we ever had. She brought us tremendous joy and was very loyal. Sadly Lia passed away this past Tuesday 10/28 from cancer. She fought a tough battle and we will miss her dearly. When we decide to adopt again we will definitely go to SBPBR.wav

8 and half years ago we adopted our female German Shepherd from your Rescue, she was 4 1/2 months old and was with Sara Rogers just for a week prior to her adoption. She (and her adopted brother from the Santa Clara Humane Society) flew back to France with us and have since been living a happy life near the ocean. Nikita was 8 years old in May, still perfectly healthy and very young at heart. Wonderful that you are still saving lives!!! BRAVO!!love2, Nikita is fluent in French!!
